CDA To Start Plot Allotment To Affectees Of Sector E-12 Soon

ISLAMABAD – The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to start allotment of residential plots to the affectees of sector E-12 from December 29, according to the officials.

The decision to this effect has been taken as per the recommendations of the Commission formed on November 2, 2021 on the directions of the federal cabinet, to resolve the issues being faced by the affectees of sector E-12.

The CDA would consider only those submitted cases which have been scrutinised and verified in the revenue record under the prevailing policy and rules. Furthermore, only those affectees would be eligible to be considered for the allotment of plots who have yet not availed the benefits of the rehabilitation process.

The CDA has also asked the affectees who have yet not submitted their claims to submit their cases along with relevant documents to the CDA office within 30 days.

“No claim would be entertained after the due date,” said the CDA officials further. According to the CDA officials, the affectees of sector E-12 will be allotted plots in sector I-12 for getting possession of E-12. A large number of affectees had already been given compensation but still there were people who were to be compensated. According to the affectees, their dues were still pending and they were entitled to get alternative plots before moving out of the area.
