Taxila: Punjab Minister for Social Welfare and Baitul Maal Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari inaugurated 4-km-long gas pipeline laying project at Attock city. The project would be completed with an allocation of Rs 180 million during current fiscal year to address the issue of gas pressure in the thickly populated area of the city.

Speaking on this occasion the minister said the project was approved almost two years ago but delayed because of the railway line passing through the land. He said now all the formalities had been completed and work had started on this important project

Mr. Yawar Bukhari, while giving details of the project, added that more than 40,000 people of different localities of the densely populated area of the city would benefit from this project.
