CDWP Has Authorised Projects Worth Rs191 Billion In The Health And Housing Sectors

ISLAMABAD: The Central Development Working Party approved two major projects worth Rs191.722 billion in the field of health, physical planning, and housing. According to the news sources, one project was approved and submitted to the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) for further consideration at the CDWP meeting, which was presided over by Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Jehanzeb Khan.

An Rs528 million project for safe blood transfusion services in Islamabad has been approved. The gathering featured projects in the health, physical planning and housing, education, and information technology sectors, according to an official notice.

The CDWP authorized an Rs528.383 million project by the Ministry of National Health Services to create safe blood transfusion services in the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). The project is expected to be funded through the Public Sector Development Programme and foreign funding

According to the news sources, The CDWP meeting also cleared two Position Papers (PP) worth Rs3.176bn. The first PP was presented by the Ministry of Federal Education worth Rs1.253bn for the establishment of Directorate Gene­ral of Religious Education. The second PP was presented by the Min­istry of Information Technology at a cost of Rs1.922bn for Cyber Security for Digital Pakistan Phase-1 ICT.
